Fred Hill

Fred Hill is entering his 32nd years as a collegiate baseball coach, and his 25th at Rutgers.  Coach Hill remains as focused, committed, and enthusiastic as he was when he began his coaching career. He enters 2007 as the 16th active winningest coach in the nation and earlier this spring captured his 900th win! In addition, he led the Scarlet Knights to snatch the 2007 Big East Conference title.

Chris Reardon

Chris Reardon just completed his seventh season as head coach at Caldwell College having transformed Cougar baseball into one of the top programs in the Northeast Region. Reardon's seven-year record at Caldwell is 142-131, and includes 2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference regular-season titles in 2003 and 2007 and a CACC tournament crown in 2004. Reardon has led the Cougars to the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional twice in 2004 and 2007. This past year Reardon was named CACC coach of the year.

During Reardon's tenure at Caldwell College, the Cougars have played in four CACC Tournament championship games. In just his second season, Reardon had his team contending for the conference title by finishing second in the regular season. In 2003 Reardon was named the CACC Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to their first regular-season conference title, while guiding the pitching staff to a national ranking of 13th in earned-run average.

Frank Rendini

Frank began his career at Don Bosco Tech where he was named MVP 3 years in a row.  His 3 year Varsity pitching record was 22-4.  His 1.89 ERA average remains the lowest in school history.  Rendini's 4 year batting average was 343. He was named All County for three years and All State in both his Junior and Senior years.

Coach Rendini played for William Patterson College with a 2 year Varsity record of 10-2 finishing his college career with the 5th lowest ERA in school history of 2.25.

Frank has been the pitching coach at Passaic Valley High School, St. Thomas College and Globe Tech Jr. College (Div 1 Jr. College).  Frank is an Part-Time Scout under Steve Markovich for the Seattle Marizner's Organization.  He works with both baseball and softball players helping to improve their hitting and pitching.

Chris Checchetto
Chris Checchetto, the 2007 Colonial Hills Conference Coach of the Year, has been the head baseball coach at Cedar Grove High School since 2004, continuing the winning tradition of one of the states most successful programs. All four of his teams have competed in the state tournament, while averaging over 16 wins per season, culminating with the 2007 Colonial Hills Conference Championship.
 
Checchetto pitched for coach Fred Hill at Rutgers University, earning three varsity letters and was captain of the 1997 team. He currently ranks in the top 20 in career games pitched, while pitching in both the Atlantic 10 and Big East Conference Championship Tournaments. In 1994, Checchetto pitched in his first career game against a #1 ranked Georgia Tech squad that included Nomar Garciaparra, Jason Varitek, and Jay Payton.
 
Checchetto graduated from Verona High School, earning all-state, all county and all-conference honors as a pitcher, while throwing two career no-hitters. He currently teaches in Cedar Grove and resides in Caldwell with his wife and son.

Valerie Tauriello
Val graduated Montclair State University with a BA in Physical Education and Health.  She has been teaching at Mount Hebron Middle School in Montclair for 4 years.
Val was an assistant coach at Montclair State for 2 years after playing softball there for 4 years.  Val is currently the an assistant coach for the Montclair High School Varsity Softball team.
 
Lauren Debold
Lauren graduated from Ramapo College with a BA in Communications.  She has been teaching in the area throughout her college career in the Northern New Jersey area.  She pitched for the Ramapo Roadrunners during her freshmen and sophomore year. 
 
She graduated from Bloomfield High School, earning 1st team all-county, all-area and all league, while throwing six no hitters and a perfect game. 
 
Angelo Corbo
Angelo has been been coaching and teaching for almost 35 years.  Angelo spent 20 years as Assistant Baseball Coach at Glen Ridge High School.  Over that span Angelo helped guide Glen Ridge to 5 State Championships, 7 Sectional Championships, 2 County Championships and 9 Conference Titles.  In addition, Angelo has spent 22 years as Assistant Boys Soccer Coach Glen Ridge High School and 12 years Head Wrestling Coach Glen Ridge High School.  Angelo is currently the Assistant Softball Coach at Bloomfield High School where the team has compiled a 51 & 9 record over the past 2 seasons with 1 conference title.
Dina DeAquino
Dina graduated from Montclair State University where she was a two time All-American Pitcher. She is also a member of the MSU Hall of Fame (1984-1988).  During her twenty years of coaching, Dina has held positions as a pitching coach at Princeton University, Assistant Coach for the Carolina Diamonds, a women’s professional softball team, and a Coach at the NY/NJ Juggernauts.  She has also coached at Planet Fast Pitch. 
 
 
Strength & Conditioning 
 
Phil Dyer
 
Phil Dyer is the Owner and Director of Dynamic Fitness Formula, a personal training organization.  The company designs and implements weight training programs for athletes and members of the general public.
In addition to running his own personal training company, in April of 2007 Phil was named Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Rutgers Men's Basketball program. In this capacity he is responsible for the strength, speed development and conditioning of each player on a year round basis. He is also actively involved at team practices and contributes to the overall skills development of the players. 
 
Prior to Rutgers and the founding of Dynamic Fitness, Phil was coordinator of the strength and conditioning programs at Seton Hall University. His experience also includes Head Athletic trainer and Assistant Men's Basketball coach at Caldwell College, assistant strength and conditioning coach at Clemson University, and assistant strength and conditioning coach intern at Northeastern University.
Phil is a 1996 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Boston where he majored in human performance and fitness, leading to his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist and athletic trainer. Phil played basketball and baseball at UMass-Boston,  served as a student athletic trainer, and worked with various youth athletic programs in the greater Boston area as a conditioning and nutritional consultant.
Phil has also devoted countless hours on a volunteer basis to the Jersey Hot Shots, a youth basketball organization run in association with the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
